at first, saoirse wanted to go back to ireland. she missed her home and her friends, but she was getting use to where she was now. there was always time to visit ireland again soon, and she knew her mother would allow her to go to visit by herself, especially because she knew people there and would be able to stay there with them. if saoirse met more people, then she might even bring someone with her, if she ever went to visit. there were only a few people, and places, that she really needed to visit again. she also wanted to visit her grandparents, as she missed them a great deal, and it was hard to keep in touch with them as they didn't like communicating with technology, most likely because they didn't know how to use it.
he then called her dear, and it made her blush even more. no boy had called her dear before, though she decided right then and there that she liked being called dear. saoirse loved the way that he had been smiling a lot, and she knew that she had been smiling a lot as well. talking to him made her all happy inside, and she didn't want the feeling to go away. it was a really nice feeling. "thanks. it really means a lot, ya know. being called pretty is nice." saoirse didn't know if she was rambling, or if what she was saying was actually making sense. all she knew what that she really wanted to get to know elijah better. and, she wasn't sure if she was flirting or not, but she took it as a no. she didn't know how to flirt. if she was flirting, she had no idea that she was doing it. "what about me is so special, if i may ask?" she was curious to hear what he had to say. saoirse was a bit surprised when she was pulled into a hug, but she couldn't say that she didn't like him. and the moment she actually was going to hug back was the moment that he pulled away. once he let go of her, she gave him a quick hug herself, just because she already liked hugging him. a lot. "a studio? i would love to. i've never actually been in a real studio before." she admitted. "i really really wanna hear you now," she nodded.

Eli's mother was going to skype him later tonight to see how the twins were doing. She didn't check in too often but when they did hear from her it was very nice. Chester promised to call later when he was going home so Eli could bring them supper. Their mother was quite a character, she basically raised them without the help of anyone. They struggled a lot with money, Eli had to pawn off his first guitar to pay a few bills. He later bought a new one to replace his old one. He didn't have the luxury of having guitar lessons either, he learned all by himself. Eli did it with a lot of hard work and it really paid off.
Eli saw the blush form on Saoirse's cheeks, he really liked the way she smiled. Everytime she did, he felt butterflies in his stomach flutter about. He couldn't deny how happy he was right now, just standing infront of her made him feel all jittery inside. "I'm sure all the other guys are just to shy to tell you you're beautiful." Eli laughed softly, he really hoped that he wasn't coming off as annoying. Eli was told by his brother a lot he was annoying. He hoped Saoirse didn't think so, he really was trying to impress her. "What isn't special about you?" Eli grinned, "I mean you write songs, you play guitar and piano, you're Irish!" Eli could go on forever if he could, he took a step towards her, "Not to mention this gorgeous hair." He moved a stray strand away from her beautiful eyes. When Eli hugged her it was just for a second, he didn't want to freak the poor girl out. When he let go, he was brought into another embrace by her. Eli liked the way she was so tiny compared to him, he could pick her up and swing her around like it was nothing. "Never been to a studio?! I'll definitely bring you to our next session." Eli couldn't wait to hit the studio now, he hated being the only guy without a girl in the studio. It was really awkward at times to be the seventh wheel. "My loft is only a couple minutes away walking, you wanna come over and I can play a few tracks...?" Eli asked her shyly, looking away for a brief second and blushing.

saoirse and her mom didn't have much money, but they managed. back in ireland when her dad was alive, they had a bit more money, but not much. he spent his money on drugs and alcohol, so it really wasn't a shock when he had died from overdose. saoirse didn't really like to talk about it. she was glad that since she had been in america no one had asked about her dad. and if they did, she wasn't sure that she would tell them the truth about him. maybe one day she would open up to someone and tell them that her dad died of overdose and not cancer, but she wasn't sure she was quite ready to open up about that yet.
"too shy to tell me i'm beautiful? nah, i don't think so. most guys now only think girls who show skin are beautiful. i'm not really like that." it was true, not it seemed like the more skin that you showed, the more guys attention you would get. saoirse wasn't like that though. the only time she ever showed a decent amount of skin was at the beach, and she didn't think that counted. something about elijah kept drawing her closer to him. he didn't seem like all of the other guys, and saoirse could already feel herself liking him. "hey! other girls can play piano and guitar. i bet other irish girls can, too. not just me." she explained, wondering if he really thought that she was special. he then moved a piece of her hair away from her eyes, and saoirse held her breath for a minute. no guy had gotten this close to her in awhile. but she liked it. hell, she really liked it. "does this mean i can ruffle that blonde hair of yours? she asked, hoping that he wasn't going to mind. "cause i've been thinking about how soft it looks." she bit her lip softly, hoping that he didn't find her weird. "that would be awesome! i'd really like that." now saoirse had something that she was definitely looking forward to. "that sounds good to me, i don't have anywhere to be." she smiled, before noticing that he was blushing, which sent her into blushing again.

Now that the two twins were quite famous, money wasn't a problem anymore. He had a lot of disposable income, with that he had difficulty spending it at times. Eli wasn't used to this amount of money, he could have anything he wanted yet he didn't want to splurge it all. The only big purchase the twins made was their loft in the middle of the city, it had a fantastic view and great living area. It was really expensive but they managed to purchase it with their record sales from that year. He was quite proud of everything they had squished into a year, it had been a fabulous year.
"Showing skin is sexy but I think a little mystery is better." Eli admitted, he liked when girls showed the right amount of skin without looking slutty. Eli didn't want all the guys staring at his girl, he would prefer all eyes on her beautiful face then her beautiful body. Girls didn't need to show skin to be beautiful, it gave the wrong message to all the guys anyways. "Well I haven't found any other girl who can do all those things! You're pretty darn special to me then." Eli smiled warmly, he liked all the qualities he found out about Saoirse already. He was excited to find out more and more about her. Eli laughed lightly at her comment about his blonde hair, "Of course dear, I mean I'm not naturally blonde but shhhh! no one knows that but my brother." Eli winked playfully, he didn't mind people ruffling up his hair. The guys did it all the time anyways, it was always messy too. "Can't wait then!" Eli answered, he hoped the guys wouldn't over react to him bringing a girl. He started to walk in the direction of his loft, "Sounds good! It's this way Saoirse." He pointed towards the large buildings of New York City. Eli's steps fell instep with Saoirse's after walking for a brief second, "So tell me, why did you move to New York from such a small town." Eli asked trying to make conversation with her.

many people got into the music business just so that they could make a lot of money, but that wasn't the case with saoirse. she got into music because she genuinely loved music more than anything. she wasn't passionate for anything as much as she was for music. the whole writing process and being able to put how you felt into music was what she loved the most. she could be real, be herself, and no one could judge her. it was easier getting your feelings across in music, than it was trying to just say your feelings. her songs were her diary, and everything that she felt could be shown by listening to her music, or by merely just reading her music.
"i'm not really a sexy person. i don't see myself as being sexy, and showing skin isn't really for me," saoirse shrugged, rambling a little. part of the reason she didn't show more of herself was that she was so shy and insecure about her looks, and she didn't need people constantly judging her body as well. saoirse felt her cheeks redden up again when he said that she was special to him. the fact that she kept blushing around him was a good sign, since she didn't tend to blush around people often' although it was easy to get her to blush just by saying the right thing. "thanks elijah. you're special to me too." saoirse ran her fingers through her hair slowly, looking at him while she did. and then when she had the okay to play with his hair, she ruffled her fingers through his hair, messing it up a bit. "i like it like that! you should let me style your hair more often," she joked. "what color is your natural hair? i'm blonde, but i like to go red at times," she admitted, looking up at him. she began to walk in the direction that he pointed to, moving in beside him. "actually we moved here because my dad passed away, and we kind of wanted to start over. the town was so small, and people talked.. ya know? what about you?" she asked, wondering if she should tell just how her dad passed away.

eli was starting to wonder what saoirse's sound was like. she had such a delicate and tender speaking voice, he really wanted to know what she sounded like singing. eli had a brief thought and started to believe it was a mixture of cher and an angel. he wondered if she could help him write his own songs too. eli had been writing a duet but was unsure how the bridge should sound, he needed the right chords and right notes. it was just too difficult by himself, the guys were all really busy now with signings, appearances, and mixed with all their girls it was just hard to get some help. chester helped him whenever he wasn't busy which he appreciated a lot actually.
eli couldn't help but chuckle, he thought saoirse didn't need to show a lot of skin to be "sexy" or "beautiful". she was perfectly cute and that's what made him blush so much. "lcause when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while. cause girl, you're amazing just the way you are." eli sung to saoirse, he was obviously joking around but at the same time it was the perfect answer to her statement. "thank you." he blushed softly at her compliment, she did that a lot to him actually. eli watched as she combed through her hair and then when he gave her the go to ruff his hair up, she softly ran her hands through his hair. "keep it messy like this? anything for you dear." he smiled warmly, he didn't bother flicking it back to it's normal style. his goofy hair made her smile and if making saoirse smile costed him his perfect hair so be it. "my hair colour? believe it or not it's brown. i dyed it a couple years ago and kept it blonde since." his brother did the same thing a few days later so they would match.
when they started to walk towards his loft and saoirse answered his question. he frowned slightly, "i-i'm sorry, i-i didn't know." he didn't mean for the conversation to become a damper. "i moved here to be closer to my band mates, i've always been in and out of new york for years and me and my bro decided to make the move permanently a couple months ago." eli answered, "but hey! at least you had a dad, i never really knew mine..." eli trailed off, his voice growing soft. it was a touchy subject for him and he never really told anyone about his family life.

saoirse didn't think she was an amazing singer' but she did think that she was good. after all, you needed to be a bit confident in yourself if you wanted to have a career in music. she did believe that she had a unique voice, you couldn't really compare her to many people, and that was what she liked most about her voice. she didn't want to sound like someone else, she wanted to sound like herself. she did believe that she had a soft voice, she definitely didn't have a voice that would be used for rock music.
she watched him chuckle and stuck her tongue out at him. it was a childish act to some, but saoirse couldn't help but do something like that every once in awhile. when he began singing, she couldn't help but smile. because of the song he chose to sing, and because she loved the sound of his voice. "i really like your voice." his voice made her happy, and she really didn't want him to stop singing when he had. he had the voice that she could listen to all day, and not get sick of. "you shouldn't have stopped singing, i really like your voice," she admitted softly. saoirse got a good look into his eyes after she ruffled his hair, and she realized how lovely his eyes were. they were a really nice shade of blue, and they could easily turn into saoirse's favorite color. "people probably tell you this all the time, but you have really nice eyes." she blushed softly. saoirse studied him for a moment, trying to think of him with brown hair. "i haven't seen you as a brunette, but i think i like you blonde more," she smiled warmly.
"oh, don't worry about it. i was upset for awhile, and i will always miss him, but he was more into going to the bar and stuff than being a dad," she sighed softly, rummaging her fingers through her hair again. "i wanna meet your band mates sometime! i mean, if that is okay and all..." she said. she didn't want him to feel forced to introducing her to the band. "what do you mean? i mean... you don't have to tell me, but.." she trailed off, looking at him once again.
