[/center]Aaliyah was honestly really surprised with just how things turned out; it seemed that even just last week she couldn’t even really stand Landon, in fact if anything she despised him because he was just about everything that she wasn’t. She was always playing it pretty safe, and never one for any kind of trouble and for her own reasons. The main reason for that was because Aaliyah was sick, and very sick at that, she had cancer and she had known about it for a little bit now. Of course with cancer you had to be careful and it made it so she couldn’t really do many things and Landon, she knew he liked a few drinks here and there.
In fact, if you told her even a week or two ago that she would even give Landon the time of day she wouldn’t believe you, but after a few conversations on IM and him saving her one day she changed her mind. The day he saved her was just like any other day really, she was at school and some really rude boys were bullying her and just being rude. It was funny how Landon was just there, she didn’t even know that he had a sibling in the High School but thinking back on it now, she was sorta glad that he did. She was never good with defending herself and she didn’t really have many friends, so it was always nice to have someone there to help her.
That progressed to a sorta friendship, something that she honestly really did value and even enjoy because she had learned that really she was sorta wrong about Landon and she made a mistake. Sure she did know that she was getting to close to fast though, she also knew that everything could simply just tumble around her in the end and she wasn’t afraid. She couldn’t be bothered with any fears, because having fears was just showing everyone else that they have won. She wasn’t afraid of what could happen to her, she knew just what could happen to her and looking into her mirror fixing her hair she sighed.
It was just another day out with Landon really doing whatever they wanted to, they never really did have much of a game plan and she was really just happy with anything so she just went with whatever he had planned most days. She was dressed pretty casual, what she normally wore and her hair was up pretty simply. She didn’t really want to be fancy, just simple really, and she didn’t really find the need to impress either. She was just fine with looking the way she did.
