Alan’s life had seemed to be changing, and at a pretty fast rate as the days and weeks seemed to just go on. He had gotten engaged to his good friend and girlfriend Amy, and they had been planning the wedding with a slow progression but that didn’t really seem to matter. He just simply liked being with Amy and spending time with her that time didn’t seem to mean all that much to him when he was with her, he just like laying with her or talking to her. He finally had that person he could just tell everything too, even though Amy had been that person before and had been since he first moved here to the states. He remembered when he first moved here too, it was actually ridiculous but now he felt like he nearly just belonged here, with Amy.
Today was the day she was going to be moving in with him, even though at the moment he still lived with his parents since he found it a lot easier than having his own place though he was looking. He had to figure that having his own place as a grown man was probably a lot safer than living with his parents, he was going to be getting married in the future so every chance he had he was trying to look for his own place where he and Amy could just be together, alone. His hopes were to have a place before they were actually married, but for now at least they could be together at all times. He’d rather be living with her, than her elsewhere anyway. They were engaged after all, so today was the day they were moving all her things in.
“Amy you know if you want this stuff to be put where it’s supposed to, you need to actually help” Alex looked at his fiancé as he was holding one of the heavy boxes. Sometimes that woman could be so lazy, it was honestly hilarious. He was always so active and here she was, just sitting there and simply watching, the lazy ass.

Life was like a rollercoaster, running too fast, Amy could barely keep up but there were several moments she enjoyed. most of them were related to Alan, the guy she was madly in love with. Ever since he had come into her life, it had started to change. For the first time ever, her mother had actually allowed her to date and frankly talked about boys & love issue. From a very young age, Amy could only remember her mother being anti boys & over protective to such an extend, she was never allowed to hangout with guys. as far as dating was concerned, it never happened. she was the nerd, who stuck her nose into the books & boys didn't find her interesting at all but she had several crushes that made her heart skip. just silly crushes she always got over except for one that remained until she was met Alan. the guy she adored was Dominic, her childhood bestie who was so shy and just adorable. She had always felt guilty because Dom took her like a sister. he was just too adorable she couldn't help it. When Alan walked into the picture, she easily gave up on Dominic. the two started off as friends, turning into best friends and eventually expressing their likeness to each other. She kept that part hidden from her mother because she didn't wanted her mother to ruin it but when Alan asked her out once, she had to jump around the house in excitement and slip the news to her mother, whose response was the most shocking. She was actually happy for the first time ever to see Amy with some guy. it was one magical movement & the two had been dating for nearly five months & one day Alan asked her to meet him at the beach & he proposed her with a ring. she didn't think what her mother would say or people would say. all she could think of was 'yes'. breaking the news to her mother was a toughie but it went well. her mother had always thought highly of Alan & like him. somehow, Alan's parents were friends with her mother so her mother told her that she was too happy for the two but adviced them not to rush into marriage just yet for they were too young. there were times her mother would tell that perhaps it was only an addiction that would wear off in time so it was better to wait for that moment than to rush into marriage, get knocked up and divorced. clearly she didn't believe in young love or she wouldn't come up with such heart breaking ideas. Amy would get into arguments with her mother over this and try her best to convince her that thw two were truly and madly in love & it wasn't any kind of addiction. her mother found it too hard to believe but she made Amy promise that they would wait for at least an year before marriage because her mother wanted Amy to finish off her senior year in College. both alan & Amy had agreed to that, settling down her mother's worry for once. the reason Amy's mother was so worried was because she didn't want Amy to get divorced and married again if she fell for someone else. Amy couldn't even think about being with anyone other than Alan. She knew that her mother cared for her & wished her daughter to be married just once and grow old with the very same person, which was a sweet thought & the person to fit in that picture with Amy had to be Alan.
With Alan being an actor, he was a busy man who was either travelling around the world promoting his movies or working on new movies so it was hard for the two to spend all the time together. She was a medical student now, fulfilling her mother's wish & working as a chef at her mother's resturant as she loved cooking and got paid a good amount of money. Whenever he was back to Manhatten, she would rush to his place or he would do that to hers but issues would rise from his parents side who were hardly around but whenever they were, they found Alan spending more time with his girl than his family and they wouldn't stop complaining about it. Amy didn't wanted to create a wall between him & his family memebers but managing time was just too difficult; they were all busy. the best solution was that Amy moved in with Alan so they both got to spend time together & with his family as well. Getting engaged was like stepping into a new level in life where the two had to leave together & get to know each other even more better. both their parents agreed and Amy started packing all her stuff that she wanted to take along with her. It took her three days to get done with packing & today she was finally moving out. her mother was sad & somewhat weeping. Amy promised her that she would meet her everyday as she worked as a chef at her mother's resturant & spend friday nights with her. once her mother calmed down, Amy drove away to Alan's huge house, that had security guards everywhere. She carried all the boxes by herself into the house while Alan was away. When he got back, there were several boxes everywhere, more like half of Amy's room items. She knew she had to share the room with Alan and his things but she wanted her items to be around too, to give her a comfy feeling. Settling down in a new place was too overwhelming & uncomforting for her. He was a little shocked and poking fun at her. the house was somewhat a mess with boxes all over the place, which annoyed Alan as he was a perfectionist. He was so active whereas she was one lazy ass who only worked when she had to & there was no way out.
She was on the phone with a friend of her, as she lay on the couch, gossiping & expressing how good it felt to move in with her man. Alan had walked over to her with boxes in his hand, complaining that she had to help him if she needed to get done with some work. She rolled her eyes and laughed. Jane I gotto keep down the phone now before Alan comes up with another comment, completely embarrassing me infront of you for being a lazy ass while he's unpacking stuff. Gotta help my man before he goes insane..'' Amy joked and laughed. See you next week, bye! she said and sat up. I'll help only if you take off your shirt she teased, chuckling. She walked over to him and picked up the boxes with him and took them into his room one by one. The mess was now all cleared from there & shifted into his room. All they needed to do was unpack and settle down the things. if my things don't fit in your room, are you kicking me out & giving me a new room? she asked, walking into his room. if yes, no more cuddling and kisses for your mister.'' she said, opening the boxes. or i've a better idea, we could both move upstair into that bigger room. even if we have our mini but loud parties all by ourselves upstairs, it wouldn't cause any kind of disturbances for your parents,y'know? she suggested. she pulled out a frame that a picture of them together. she set it on the side table and sat on the bed and looked at him. I can't believe that we're finally doing this.. she smiled.

Alan was truly very excited to be engaged to Amy, and would be even more excited the day of their wedding whenever that would happen. He felt almost overwhelmed by emotion, and sometimes it was both an amazing and scary feeling. It was just a feeling that he simply loved more than anything because he just couldn’t wait to actually be married, it was almost funny when he would go around and tell everyone that he was engaged to the most amazing person he had ever met. Sure he had girlfriends before Amy, being the age that he was it was only typical for it to be so. He was a grown man and throughout his life he had his shares of girlfriends and they had all ended the same way, it wasn’t that he was a bad guy or anything of the sort. It just simply happened that everyone always seemed to find that he was far better off being just friends and Alan had always seemed to just agree with them when they always said that. He always did find that things were better off that way, and then he learned that the person was dating someone else and he would be happy for them. One time he had even received an invitation to a wedding that was something that had really shocked him. Inviting your ex to your wedding, he wasn’t sure how that would go but he did go anyway and he had a really great time too. Now he would be next, he would be the next one to actually be married he just hoped people would be just as happy for him as his fans all were.
There were the few fans who seemed upset at the fact they would never have a chance but for the most part everyone seemed pretty happy for him and the engagement, and he was happy that they were because if they weren’t he was sure it would have broke his heart. He knew of the few people who thought that he was moving too quickly with all this but he didn’t really care, he knew that he was in love and found there was just no point in even trying to wait on things. He knew that he wanted to marry her, and he was going to no matter who tried to stop him. He was a stubborn person and anyone who knew him knew that and he wasn’t going to go and change for anyone, and he wasn’t going to let anyone even try and change him. They could try, but he knew that they would never get anywhere if Alan had any say in the matter. Having Amy move in with him only seemed like the next level up in their relationship, knowing that at least now they could have more time together and not need to say goodbye so soon and he was honestly happy to have her around more. If only she would actually hope him a little bit though.
When she finally grabbed one of the boxes from him he sighed in relief before smiling a little bit at her, “thank you for helping me love. I really thought you were going to make me do this all by myself and if you did there would totally be no kisses for you tonight” he moved around the room starting to unpack boxes. “I am not insane by the way, in fact I am perfectly sane” he added looked at her his shirt now off at her request. It was actually really funny at just how his muscles looked when he was lifting those heavy boxes inside. “My room is pretty big, I’d imagine it’d all fit and if not we do have bigger rooms we can move into given time” he shrugged crossing his arms glancing around. “We’ll see what we can do though”. (It's so short D:)
