Annalise was running late today, she was always running late for random reasons. It just seemed like someone never wanted her to be on time, to anything and if happened to really get on her nerves. May it be that her alarm didn’t go off or she had to spend extra time milling around her apartment trying to get things together before she was on her way out the door, it seemed that she was never early for anything. Bit that it was much of a problem for the most part, she was never horribly late and she was simply just lectured and told not to do it again and that was it. It really helped knowing the people that she worked with pretty well, and besides the job she had wasn’t all that glamorous or even one that she wanted all too much. It was money though, so that was the main reason that she actually kept it.
Tying the laces to her shoes she sighed patting her clothes before hurrying out of her apartment making sure she first had everything that she needed on her, it was obviously very important that she was actually prepared for the day. She wasn’t going to be wasting anytime and taking the stairs two at a time she hummed to herself checking her pockets constantly to make sure that she had everything on her that she would need and that she wasn’t missing anything that might end up actually being important. It wasn’t helping that she really wasn’t paying too much attention to where she was going and ended up bumping right into someone, “Oh good gosh. I’m so sorry” she mumbled.

frankie had been putting off doing his laundry. he was a man who had no time to do anything of that sort. he had been writing songs about his life and that had taken the toll on his life. who needed clean clothes when you locked yourself in your apartment writing songs most of the time. since he planned on going to the studio tomorrow, to work with the one direction boys he figured that it was best for him to do some laundry so he didn't look like a complete pig. lucky enough for him, there was a laundromat right in his apartment complex. now, he had to decide what to wear down there, and the only thing that was clean was a pair of pajama pants with teddy bears on them, which was embarrassing. he had a few tee shirts, and he picked out a red one to wear. might as well go with the christmas spirit, right? he ended up putting on the pajama pants, hoping that no one would see him.
he threw all of his clothes into the laundry bin, and slipped some slippers on his feet. any one would believe that he just woke up, but the truth was that he had really been awake for hours. he walked over to the elevator and pressed the button, right before someone had walked into him, causing him to spill his laundry basket onto the ground. his clothes went every where, and just to his luck, his underwear was right out in the open. he turned red and then remembered that with what he was wearing, the girl was probably laughing at him in her head right now. "oh, it's no problem," he said, before bending down and beginning to pick up his clothes, the underwear first.

Normally Annalise was the type of person who simply hated being late, but it seemed that lately she always ended up being late and she knew it was simply starting to annoy people. It really made it hard for people to rely on you and trust you if you were always late to things, and she was really lucky her boss was a lot more lenient on the rules or she would have lost her job. Her job, which was what paid for her apartment was not something she would ever want to lose because having to live on the street would simply just suck. She knew though that always being late to work was a sure sign that she wasn’t as reliable as she should be, and that she was simply not a good worker, and she knew that people didn’t like that. Oh she prayed her friend wouldn’t be mad at her for being so late, she had a very good reason to be this time. She was actually going to blame her alarm for not going off and being unable to find her one shoe on her way out the door, sure it was almost totally true but hey at least it wasn’t a downright lie.
Bumping into someone wasn’t at all a part of his plan, and really she just felt totally embarrassed and ashamed for doing so. “I really am so sorry though, I didn’t mean to bump into you” Annalise sighed running her fingers through her hair as she watched the man pick up his clothes and put them back into his basket feeling totally bad about it. She thought for a moment as to whether or not she should help before simple picking up a few shirts she found on the ground handing them to him with a sheepish look. “I was in such a hurry that I wasn’t watching where I was going, I’m sort of running late on meeting my friend somewhere and I’m just always running late lately” she added with another sigh.
