It was amazing to Sebastian how things just seemed to happen to him lately, just a few days ago he was in his apartment back in a different state and now here he was in an apartment he bought for the time he spent here in New York. He was honestly shocked to even be here but he sure did like it here and he had finally had the chance to talk the sister he never knew because he was adopted, and him having a sister wasn't that surprising to him because it seemed that odd things always seemed to just be happening to him lately. He found his self sightseeing lately just to see how things worked around town, as a tourist he did get lost a lot though and right now he could simply say that he was lost.
Wandering around the town doing really lord knows what; it was fun for the most part and just really something for him to do really. He just really needed something to do really and here at the mall from what it appeared to be he could even get some shopping done and pick up a few things that he needed, the main thing that he needed right now was more clothes because he didn't know how long he was going to be in town for. He had a feeling that it was going to be for a while though because it seemed like it was a nice town so far. He seemed to like it here so far, it was actually pretty nice here for the most part.
Not quite the town he grew up in though, the town he grew up in was a little more quiet and he did seem more use to that but this was nice too. He actually even seemed to enjoy the loud city, it was something he saw with his career always on set on the show he was on, and with the pictures he took. He had his career as both an actor and a photographer, and he was a good photographer too. He had to be if he ever wanted to be paid of course, and after going to school for photography and performing arts he had to be pretty good at it. He made it his mission to give people what they asked for, and always had his camera with him. Heck even now he had his camera with him, snapping a few pictures here and there to add, he actually had a lot of photos too.
Today he was wearing a news boy hat and a pair of sunglasses to disguise his self a little bit, something he had to do since he was of course famous. He loved his job though and never had a problem with being noticed though; sometimes he even liked being noticed. It was something that reminded him of just who really was and just how far he had come, he had been through a lot in the past. Mostly through foster homes in till he was finally adopted, that alone did take some time but after it happened he had a pretty great home and an awesome family. He loved his family even though it was not his real family and he was only now figuring out the truth, it was hard to take sometimes but he did it well or the best he could really.
Glancing around the mall he sighed walking around the mall with his camera taking pictures here and there of a few things, just anything to pass the time since he didn't really have much else to do. In fact he was actually pretty bored and had nothing to do right now, then again he was sure in time that could change though. If he figured out something to do that is and here he was sure that was possible, because really he was just up to anything really. The only problem was he was just easily bored was all, but hey that was normal.

maddie had only been in town for a few weeks, but she seemed to like it for the most part. it was weird going from a small town girl into a major city, one that was known around the world. everyone knew about new york city, and if they didn't, then they didn't know much about the world. or they were just too young to know. but for the most part, everyone knew. she was surprised to find herself in new york city, as she had always told her mom that she would never be a city girl. but she had ended up here, mostly because she wanted to follow her dreams and it was much easier doing that in a big city than a small town. in the town she lived in everyone knew her. they knew her as the girl who was in movies, doing what she loved. but even though she was famous, it was hard for her out there. she was always offered deals and she had to travel so much to be able to do it. this way it was easier for her to do her job, as so much went on in new york city, and she could film easily here. it was hard getting settled in. she moved into an apartment complex, and everyone seemed to be nice. the hardest part was getting use to all the sirens and noise. back where she lived before it was always quiet and nothing major happened. now there was so much noise and it was just crazy.
she had decided to go to the mall and buy some things for her apartment, along with some new outfits. she had auditions for new shows soon, and she wanted to look top notch. and at the moment her apartment was so bare and boring, she wanted to liven it up with more colors and interesting things. for the most part she wanted a beach type theme in her apartment, as the beach was her favorite place to be. maddie walked around the mall, looking around. the mall was so... big. much different from the mall that was back in her old house, where not much was there to buy. here there was almost every place imaginable. she stopped at the food court and grabbed a soft pretzel, a little snack before she decided where she was to go. as she headed down the aisle, she looked around. there was a guy taking pictures who was very familiar. he had helped her unpack, as his sister invited him over to help. it was really nice of him to do and she really appreciated it. "hey," she said to him, hoping that he recognized her.

Sebastian was actually also pretty new to the town having just come here in search of his twin sister who he had never truly even been able to know before now since he was put up for adoption while his parents had decided to keep Sam and abused her, only more of a reason he seemed to hate them. Honestly Sebastian would have much rather been kept and abused, he could handle it and he was sure of that because he was a boy and he hated to even know that someone would dare hurt his sister. Okay he was probably just thinking crazy but he still did believe that, really he honestly just couldn’t help but think that way though because he hated that he was away for so long and now knowing that those things were even happening before to his sister. He never liked to believe that someone was being hurt, he was sort of always that person who liked to believe that nothing was ever wrong even though deep down he knew he was simply just lying to his self and besides being here in New York he could make sure that she wasn’t hurt ever again. Actually okay so he hardly let her leave his sight and it did also help that he could still do his filming from where he was so he could stay here and not have to leave right away, and he could also do his other job with photography anywhere. That was sorta just what he liked about his job; it was easy for him to find work around.
As he just roamed the mall he was snapping pictures along the way of people and things that he’d seen and thought were worth taking pictures of, and if anyone did question him he would just show them his card as proof that he really was allowed to do this and this was even his job. He knew he had been asked questions before too, people always seemed to just wonder what he was doing when he always happened to just have a camera with him and it was not a problem to him either. He was always fine with just telling people who he was and that he was a professional photographer and they were fine with it sort of. There were always those people who were uncomfortable with what he did and that was alright, he knew that not everyone would be okay with and staring down at his camera he jumped only when he heard a voice looking up. The girl who was now standing before him looked pretty familiar and thinking a moment he smiled, “hi uh Maddie isn’t it” he said almost unsure and hoping that he was right.

it was weird for maddie being here. after all, she couldn't just run and go ride horses like she use to. it would take a bit of travel to get somewhere where she actually could ride. new york city was big on cars, trains, buses, but not animals. it would definitely take some time to getting use to, but there was a plus to living in such a big city. every thing was close together, so you coukd get away with never having to be bored. you could always go somewhere, and if you happened to be hungry, restaurants were open twenty four hours a day in some places. maddie liked that, as she was very fond of food, and she was not the best cook. she could bake, but you could not survive off of cake and cupcakes. you would gain way too much weight.
the mall was pretty busy today, most likely because it was a weekend day. every one was usually off during the weekends, making them free to enjoy some shopping. maddie loved shopping, and she could go anyday of the week, at any time. it was just a girl thing. she looked over at sebastian, she hoped that it was his name, though she was sure it was. he was holding a camera and it seemed like he had been taking pictures of everything. "yeah, it's maddie," she said, nodding her head. maddie looked around at the people who were walking by. "what are you trying to get pictures of?" she asked, wondering.

Sebastian was actually from Boston where he lived with his parents who had adopted him when he was younger, and they had all kept the fact that he had a sister a secret from his in till just last year. When Sebastian had heard the news that he had a sister he knew that he had to meet her too which is why he made up the plan to come out here, because he had learned that his sister lived in the New York area after he had done his research and doing everything he could to learn more about the sister he hardly knew he had. He hated that his family had actually kept secrets from his at first but in the end he was just honestly happy to know that he actually had a sister, and he knew he had to meet her so here he was in New York and he liked it here too.
Being here at the mall Sebastian wasn’t really surprised that it was so busy, being the weekend it was almost always busy at this time since most people had the weekends off from work. In fact Sebastian even sorta had off today, he only merely decided to bring his camera to the mall to take pictures of just nothing in particular really. When Maddie asked him just what he was taking pictures of he had honestly laughed, he really had no idea how to really answer that question. He was actually just taking pictures of whatever he felt like taking pictures of right now, “really about anything actually. Mostly the people around, I normally just take random pictures when I’m bored so I can try the features on my camera. This one just happens to be a new one” he said motioning to his camera.

maddie thought for a minute, before remembering that it seemed like sebastian's sister, samantha, was trying to set them up. or so it seemed like it. maddie had a premiere coming up, and his sister wanted him to go and be her date for the event. however, maddie didn't want him to go if he wasn't up for it. of course it would be nice to have him go, he was a very attractive man, and it would be nice not to go to an event alone, seeing how people always asked questions about if she was seeing someone and she was too shy to let people know. the only bad thing about him going would be for people to think that they were dating, and she didn't want to bring that upon him. after all, the press could make up some pretty weird stuff, and he didn't need to be brought into it. "remember how your sister brought up the premiere? well you really don't need to go if you don't want to.. she said, nodding her head. she didn't need him going and feeling uncomfortable.
"do people ever look at you weird, knowing you're taking pictures of them?" she asked, wondering if anyone had ever said anything to him about him taking pictures. she could see someone getting mad, as many people didn't like for their pictures to be taken. that was just the way it was. maddie wasn't big into getting her picture taken, but she got use to it because that came with the job. you couldn't be an actress and not get your picture taken. it just didn't happen. though maddie was lucky that she was a beautiful girl, and she seemed to turn out okay in the pictures that she seemed to be snagged in.

Honestly Sebastian wanted to simply curse his sister for trying to set him up with Maddie, of course the girl was pretty but he didn’t need her help when it came to girls. Really she actually just made the whole thing totally awkward for him actually, and when she also tried to talk him into going to the premiere she had he wasn’t sure if he even could say no. He was busy a lot of the time though so really the whole thing was just totally awkward for him at the time and he had no idea what to even say to her, he didn’t want to say ho but he was unsure if he should say yes. “I have no problem with going with you though, I’m free and all so it’s no trouble. It’s actually a surprise that I’m free so I might as well be doing something with the time and not wasting it like I normally do” Sebastian shrugged his shoulders when he spoke, really he just needed to have more fun in his life. He always seemed to just be so boring and really that wasn’t any fun now was it.
“Yeah people look at me weird all the time, I’m taking pictures of them and they do ask questions sometimes too but I just explain who I am and normally I either delete the photo if they want me too or I keep it if they don’t mind. I mean it’s part of my job to take photos, I’m a photographer so normally people don’t really seem to mind it. I get people who do mind and when that happens I just delete their picture and it’s really just as simple as that” he shrugged, deleting a picture really wasn’t that big of a deal to him. He knew that not everyone liked having their picture taken and he respected that.

maddie felt bad that his sister was trying to set them up. she had a way out of it, since she wasn't related to the girl, but then again, she really didn't. she lived in the same apartment complex as his sister. she was a really nice girl, but she was set on trying to get maddie and seb to go out on a date. she often invited them over to her house at the same time, just so they would 'bump' into each other. of course maddie didn't mind seeing him. he was extremely attractive, but she didn't want him to get sick of seeing her. you had to see family, but you had the choice of who else you wanted to see. "well it is definitely up to you. i don't want to make you do something you don't want to do."
maddie nodded as she listened to him talk. everything that he was saying made sense to him. if someone wanted you to keep a picture, you could. if someone didn't want you to keep the picture, then you deleted it. it was common curtesy. "yeah, i definitely understand," she nodded. although she wasn't a photographer, she understood what they did. though she wasn't sure she could do it herself, as she was terrible at taking pictures. "i'm terrible at taking pictures though," she shrugged. "do you like acting or photography more?" she wondered.

Sebastian of course loved his sister with ever fiber of his being, but the girl tended to be a pain sometimes. Sure he did suppose that all siblings tended to be that way though but still, she was pretty much his only actual family that he knew and that meant something. He had to realize that really she just wanted to help and deep down he knew that she only merely wanted to help but really it still tended to just get on his nerves because he was sure that he could find someone on his own even though Maddie was obviously a very pretty girl and liked seeing her and all. He just didn’t think that she always had to ‘bump’ into him at Sam’s place, yes he knew that they were not just a thing that happened, but of course planned. “I know, but perhaps I want to come along” he shrugged.
Sebastian loved his job, both of his jobs in fact and it didn’t matter what he was doing either because he loved both of his jobs very much and when he had to delete his picture he just deleted it. He respected peoples wishes because he obviously didn’t want to get in trouble or anything, “it’s all in the job because some people don’t want me keeping their picture so I just go ahead and delete it and that’s it” he just shrugged again. It wasn’t really that hard to delete a picture, and thinking on Maddie’s question he honestly wasn’t sure. “I like both of my jobs actually, both acting and photography. I enjoy doing both, so I guess I don’t really like one thing more than the other” he loved both of his jobs the same.

maddie didn't know what it was like to have a sibling, as she was grown as an only child. it was nice for awhile, her mom was always there for her, and she was always getting the attention. but then it got lonely, and she often had no one to play with at times. it was part of the reason she became so into acting, she could hang out with other people, and get to know them. she always had her mom's support with her acting, and she was grateful for that. some parents didn't think that acting was a real job, but maddie thought it was harder than most other jobs. you never got a break, people followed you around, and they were always having people get into their business. maddie was a bit surprised that he actually wanted to go. "really? then that would be great. only if you're absolutely sure, though." she nodded as she spoke, looking at him the whole time.
"i don't mind people taking pictures of me, i guess. there are times i wish they didn't, especially when i'm going through an embarrassing moment." there had been times when people had captured pictures of her in the wrong moment, and she ended up with people laughing at her as the picture was passed around. that was another thing about being famous, everyone saw the mistakes that you made, and it really wasn't fun. at all. "i don't think i would be good at taking pictures, really. i would probably keep messing up." she nodded.

Sebastian was only now simply learning that he had a sibling and figuring everything out, before that he had actually lived in both foster care and later on was actually adopted by the family he now lived with. He had always known that he was adopted but it wasn’t in till about last year that he had actually known that he had an actual sibling because his family and everyone kept it from him. After he had found out he tried to look for her, because he really just had so many unanswered questions that he really just wanted answered. He had a past drinking problem, when he was just a few years younger and he had ever since worked on changing that around for the better. In fact people were very upset with him when they had found out and today he was for the most part sober and planned to stay that way as well. “Yeah I think it will be fun” he shrugged his shoulders in reply to what Maddie had said to him.
“I like taking pictures of really anyone because sometimes when people don’t expect it that’s when you take the best picture, sometimes people try to hard when they know their picture is being taken. It’s always a lot better that they don’t expect it” he smiled a little bit at that, really some of his best pictures were of people who had no idea their picture was being taken. “It’s not hard to take a picture really; the hardest part is always making sure the person doesn’t move too much. With the wrong type of camera that can totally ruin the entire picture” he shrugged his shoulders, it was always pretty easy for him.

now maddie wanted to look her best for the premiere that was coming up. she usually looked great as usual, as she didn't want people commenting negative things about her, but now she wanted to look even better because she would have a gorgeous boy next to her. very gorgeous, in fact. "oh yeah! it will definitely be fun." she said, thinking about how they would plan everything. "do you want to go out for dinner before the premiere? it could run really late, and the after parties don't have the best food sometime.. not like a date or anything, if that's what you're thinking," she ranted, although she wasn't sure she would mind if they had made it a date. although she didn't know him that well, but she did want to get to know him more. she ran her fingers through her hair, before moving her bag up her arm more.
she shook her head slightly. "oh no! some people have taken some pretty embarrassing photos of me.. it isn't even funny," she said seriously, but she couldn't help but giggle at the end. of course, it could be funny to have an embarrassing photo, as long as they didn't get in the hands of the wrong person, because that could definitely be a problem. she didn't want bad people seeing her photos. "my pictures always turn out blurry. maybe you could show me how to use a camera sometime? she asked him. she looked around the place before looking back at him. "what stores were you planning on going to today?" she asked.
