 Eli hadn't been in an actual hospital in such a long time. Last time was to find out his grandmother had cancer. He hadn't really liked hospitals since. He knew he had to come down and visit Kyra, he had gotten the call late last night with a hasty voicemail from her. She had just woken up and told him she was craving some candy. When Eli awoke the next morning and heard the voicemail, he jumped in his car and brought all of her favourites and headed straight for the hospital. Eli knew she had been in a coma for a month, he went several times to visit her and hold her hand and whisper encouraging words to her. He loved Kyra like a sister and he had no idea what had caused her to attempt suicide but it scared him more than ever before.
Eli's thoughts swirled as he climbed the stairs to the recovery area of the hospital. Kyra was room 5o3 and he made a note to not get lost, he had a tendency to do that. It was eerily quiet in the hospital, it was kinda scary to watch as the nurses wheel patients around in wheelchairs. Eli gulped and continued his stride towards room 503, he knew his way around here by now but they moved Kyra to a new room which was confusing the blond male. He rounded the corner and approached the hallway with rooms 490-515. The bag of sweets jumbled against his side, he wasn't sure if it was allowed to bring her all these sweets but a few wouldn't be bad. He brought some of her spare clothes she kept at the twins loft.
Eli knocked on door 503, "Kyra?" He didn't wait for an answer as he entered the small room. He was glad she had snagged a single room, it was better than sharing a room with two other people. He glanced around the room, it was typical hospital setting. Kyra wasn't hooked up to as many cables anymore which he was glad to see. She was sitting upright in the hospital bed looking out the window. Eli approached the bed quietly and set down the bag he had brought and grabbed a chair to pull up to the bed. Eli grabbed her left hand lightly, "Hey, it's really great seeing you." He said softly looking at her smiling. He didn't want to alarm her too much, she had just woken up a couple days ago. "I brought you a bunch of the stuff you asked for." Eli motioned to the duffel bag sitting at the foot of her small bed.
notes - I hope it's fine I put her in the bed just sitting there... I didn't know how else to put it.
