Honestly, he has no idea what to do. It had happened all so fast. Maybe this was the feeling his father always said. Though, his father never really say anything directly at him when it comes to topics like these. Its just like a story told. With a summary, perhaps. First, Carter meets Kyra. It was really fun for him. She laughed at his jokes, flirts with him and all those things. It was a big turn on for Carter. It made him wanna be closer to her... but only as friends. Or so he thought. Second? He 'saves' her from having a car stuck on a long road without signal. He also kissed her... it was special for Carter but he wasn't planning for relationships at all. It could be considered as a small trauma he never wanted to repeat since his last serious relationship. Carter never wanted to let others know about it, maybe a few. Third, Carter... avoided and ignored Kyra. He had two reasons. One; because he wanted to think things through. He was scared of his past. He almost lost himself but thankfully he had a hold so he was still sane. Second; Kyra set him up with dates with a sixteen year old girl named Audrie. Carter didn't mind Audrie. She was a sweet girl and if Carter actually would ask someone out, it would be her and Kyra. Carter just hated it how Kyra didn't even thought about how he would feel. Being passed on and blamed? It was part of his depression and weaknesses. Fourth, they spoke online privately. Not by intention, though. It was doing good at first but then Carter bursts out and they got into a fight. Fifth... here they are now. Carter stared at the wall as he laid down on the bed carelessly. Today wasn't really much. The band didn't had rehearsals today and they got the day in the palm of their hands. Bad thing about it is Carter had no idea what to do with it. He just got off online. Colette posted online something about Kyra... she was going to wake up soon...hopefully. If Kyra doesn't, there's a big percent she'd die and leave the world with her dreams shattered. Normally, Carter would be all happy and mess with his friends but maybe this time is one of those when he has to be serious... again. Besides, his band mates aka best mates are having their own thinking time. Or at least that's what Carter likes to call it. Carter ran a hand through his hair. He acts like nothing and gets pissed off whenever Kyra was mentioned. He wasn't sure why. After, he gets really guilty. It was like he needed to see her but he had been restraining himself at the same time. Carter heard music from outside. One of the boys must've got the radio on or just by their phone. Carter wanted to throw the pillow at the door to tell them to quiet down. It was a bit distracting but he'd enjoy distraction. Carter groaned. And at the same time, a specific music comes along. Moments. It was sung by the six boys. It was about a girl who was going to die of cancer. Carter sat up, feeling his eyes tear up. All he could imagine is 'what if its too late?' and 'what if i'd be singing this...and not even try to fix anything?'. Carter placed his palm by his eyes to prevent crying. He hates to let the tears flow down. "You can do this... you're Carter Williams right?" he told himself as he took a breath and stood up. Carter faced the mirror and then grabbed his car keys, not even caring about his pajamas on. "I'm going out." He said with a semi-straight voice and walked fast outside. Carter wanted to back off but it was now or never. He drove to the hospital and walked in front of the lady. "What room is... Miss Kyra Abel in?" He asked with a bit shaky voice. The girl pointed the room and he walked towards there, still regretting what he'd see. As Chester and Cole said, it was an awful sight and experience. Carter held the door knob but not really opening it. He believe he's a coward. Small memories flashed on his mind. Then he remembered the song. Carter twisted the door and got inside. Whatever happens, at least he tried. | [/style] |
