That could work. Maybe they met years ago and then broke up because of one of them moving to another place. Then about maybe two-three months, they saw each other again and now they're together again. 'Cause I really stated her being single for the past months >.< Kayleigh would/already refused his proposal maybe because she'd want to focus on her career and she thought the marriage would get in the way + she would be troubled seeing as there was a time apart away from each other? BTW, Whose PB do you have in mind? I don't really mind whoever but a suggestion is Freddie Stroma 'cause of pictures. haha xD

Well, Like I posted above maybe they were one of those cutest couples before the whole "Focus on career" of Kayleigh. They'd love each other and all that. The cutesy :3 But then in the middle of relationship, Kayleigh started reaching for her dream which caused a bit of distance for both of their schedules and maybe one of them moved? Kayleigh's an american but maybe she's from another state and moved here or Jordan moved away and Kayleigh was left here in Manhattan. By then, they broke up. Kayleigh is still progressing her dream and then they see each other again. It would be a bit awkward and then they'd have a talk and be together but its not that much easy seeing as Kayleigh's focused on everything, currently. So they'd help each other to work it out (but still has the edge) then he proposes, and she refuses for her reasons. Its either they break up or ignore each other by then?

I think they get a bit distant and they start to think that they just 'aren't meant to be'. But then he gets shot, and Jordan realizes how close he was to losing her forever and he proposes, but she refuses?

Hmm... Maybe they neglect their feelings/they're in denial for their feelings for each other. They'd tell themselves that its all over and they don't feel anything but they completely know to themselves that they need each other and still love each other? Though, that would undergo now that they aren't together or something. they broke up when one moved away (whoever) and such. Then when Jordan gets shot, its either they would get together while he's recovering or they already are together before he was shot (or she doesn't know he was shot at all). When he proposes, Kayleigh would refuse even if she loved him with all her heart. Of course, if Kayleigh doesn't know that he was shot then she found out after rejecting him, she'd feel really bad about it. Which or does that sound good?

I love that! I think Jordan was the one who moved away (cause of work). Maybe Kay overhears Ali talking about her brother gets shot at the boutique (cause Kay is a client), she decides to pay a visit (both still in denial) and they get back together while he's recovering? And after she refuses they break up, maybe trying to date someone else, but they know that it doesn't feel right. In the end--he's hers, and she's his.
