His fear had come true. The mafia gang knew about him & Sam. of course they would know about them. both of them were famous and hanging out all the time. they had pictures of videos about them in newspapers and online. since they were open about their relationship, everyone knew that they were together. just when he thought life was perfect, his heart was broken and life decided to be a bitch. he found out that the mafia gang knew about Sam and they had been trying to get her. Luckily, Ryan had always set some secret guards on Sam so getting closer to Sam wasn't easy but it was still not enough. they were dangerous. they had first killed his father & warned his brother to never talk about it but he did. his brother was a brave man who tried to get them punished but lost his life and they murdered him right infront of Ryan's eyes years ago. Ryan was wise enough not to repeat his mother's mistake. He loved living and didn't wanted to lose his mother. the mafia gang had him warned that if he tried to act clever, they would brutally kill his mother too. even the thought of it was killing, filled with agony and hatred, he agreed never to talk about it to anyone & he never slipped a word about it to his mother either. music was his plus point from the beginning so he worked hard and became a professional singer. few years ago he was a solo singer and today he was in a band, with five other guys, who were like his best friends and more like his brothers. God did take away one brother of his but gave him five in return so he was thankful. he had always kept his mother in a far off place, protected by several guards without her knowledge & had been doing the same for Sam. it just didn't seem to work out. it was all his mistake. he had dragged her into hell & the only way out was showing people that he wasn't anywhere related to Sam in any sense, either friend of her boyfriend. break up was the only way out.
He couldn't gather the courage to break up with her. He loved her so much, letting go wasn't easy. fake break up idea had popped up into his mind and he tossed it out to Sam but she didn't agree. As usual, as all the girls did, she threw an emotional tantrum and started crying. she never seemed to agree with his ideas but this had to happen or someday he might lose her. for once he decided to let her know why he was doing this. he explained her the whole mafia story & yet she didn't agree. in annoyance and frustration he told her that he was done with her and left. they didn't talk for a few days and he did miss her but thought it was for good. he had send out security for her secretly to keep her protected. it was hard for him to let go of her but this was the only way he could keep her protect and alive unless she decided to stick to the fake break up. days later she contacted him, announcing that she could put on an act of fake break up but never do it for real. it was way too heart breaking and he agreed. after three days he had to see her & talk in detail regarding the plan. a long drive could work at late night. it was eleven o clock when he left for her house in his car, driving his way to hers. she lived with her twin brother. although the city never slept but he still knew of places that were dark and silent. he had texted her to stay ready and put on some kind of disguise that kept her face hidden and quickly run into the car. he was himself in a disguise. nothing too fancy, a hoodie was all. she wasn't safe at all to be seen anywhere, until he had announced that he was single again & that they had broken up. he had it all set in his mind, on his next interview he would announce that he was single again and emphasizing on it until he knew the mafia gang had given up on her.
he reached her house and texted her. five minutes later she walked out, opened the door and got in. hey babe he looked at her, smiling. they hadn't seen each other for three days and it felt like centuries. you feeling better than before? he asked, in a concern tone and continued driving. they were going for a long drive. the street near the forest area was always dark, that was the perfect place to go. he put on the stero and her song ' today was a fairy tale' was on. you're always on my stereo' he smiled. once they were in the dark street near the forest, he slowed down the speed and pulled her over, wrapping his arms around her. ' i know this is going to be really hard but we have to do it.. we'll have to start it by announcing it in our interviews alright?'' he explained her the plan, before leaning over to kiss her lips. but doesn't because we have had a fake breakup, doesn't mean I can't kiss you' he chuckled and kissed her.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To say that the past few days were hard would be an understatement. Being away from Ryan was so foreign to her that she could hardly focus on anything anymore. She had bags under her eyes from not being able to sleep right without Ryan around to make her feel more comfortable. Sam knew there were plenty of good reasons for them to be separated right now, but that didn't make being alone any easier. Sebastian had been getting increasingly closer with Maddie, a girl he liked who lived in their building. Sam was usually left alone so frequently now because everyone else had their own boyfriends or girlfriends or pregnant wives to attend to. She knew Ryan was probably worrying about her constantly and wanted to alleviate as much stress on him as possible, so she decided to try to put on a happy face. Sam had gotten the text from Ryan to be ready and was beyond excited to finally be near him once more. She hated having to sneak around simply to see him, but if seeing him tonight would help her sleep too, it was definitely worth it. Sam slipped on one of his baggy sweatshirts she had "borrowed" months before, tucked her hair into a ponytail, and hid her blonde hair inside a hat covered by the hood of the sweatshirt. When the text came, Sam hurried down the stairs and climbed into his car, doing her best not to be seen by anyone around the area. Inside the car, Sam tried her best to smile and put on a happy face for him but she was sure he'd see the sadness in her eyes and the dark bags under her eyes once they were in some kind of light. "Hey, love." It had felt like years since Sam had heard his voice and had felt this close to him. She hesitated before answering, "I.. I'm trying." Sam had her good days and bad days since they had the fight that came with the suggestion of the fake break up. She tried her best to fight off any negative feelings, but being alone made it very hard to steer clear of any bad triggers. Sam settled in the seat of his car and tried to relax, pulling down the hood once they got out of the city and into a more wooded area. She felt her mouth slightly smile when she heard her song on his radio. At least she knew he couldn't stop thinking about her through all of this. She felt the car slow down and knew this would be the point when they had their in-depth conversation about what had happened and what was to come. She sighed as he pulled her into his arms, feeling so warm and protected for the first time in days. "Its... It's been really hard already, Ryan. I'm trying. I haven't done anything stupid, like you asked." She felt her lips mold with his when he kissed her. "At least with the way I feel, a breakup would at least look realistic..." she said with a sigh, resting her forehead against his cheek and her head against his shoulder. She smiled as he kissed her more but kept her eyes closed, enjoying the warmth that accompanied his presence in this moment.
