after amara's dad remarried, she moved in with her dad where she met her step siblings and step mother. her step siblings were cruel and abusive. if amara didnt obey their orders, they would abuse her, beat her and make her life miserable. her dad's in army so he was hardly around to look after her and she didn't bother telling them about it either so from the age of fourteen until a couple of months ago, she was brutually treated by everyone in the house and to escape from it, she packed up her stuff, wrote a letter to her dad (making up excuses for leaving the house such as she wants to be independent and has found a job somewhere and would visit them only when he's around during winter break etc) and so she left. so now she's new to new york & she got herself a job at the library. she's reserved and fed up of her lifestyle. sometimes she needs a change, while sometimes she just want to end her life, that's her secret sucidal side that rarely comes out.
one night she heads to the bar to get a drink or two & she meets this guy . they talk and get drunk together. from there wander around everythere and end up at one of their place and next morning they wake up, seeing engagement rings shining up in their fingers, which means they got drunk married/engaged. that could be a shock for the one and want to get out of such a relationship but there is no way and so they bound to live together and they get to know eachother, fall in love? i saw this idea used in some indian movie and perhaps there was such a movie with cameron diaz right ? anyways, that's the other idea for 'em. it's upto you which plot you want carry out for the two of them. playby HAS TO BE PENN BADGLEY, he should be heterosexual, above twenty and below twenty six. his group & profession is upto you.. he could be in the industry, that could create loads of drama but being a normal resident like her is fine too. pleaseee snag him for me and i shall shower you with cookies & cupcakes <33
